For over fifteen years I have worked at the intersection of journalism, strategic communication and Strategic Foresight. Through my own practice, Torcasso Media, I help organisations make complex topics tangible, build trust and shape what comes next, moving fluently between business, media, science and culture.
My path runs from Switzerland's leading newsrooms, among them Handelszeitung, BILANZ and Tamedia, to Europe's largest futures institute, 2b AHEAD in Berlin, where I built foresight studies for international corporations using scenario planning, the Delphi method and backcasting. Current engagements include leading communications at digitalswitzerland and co-directing the new CAS Strategic Foresight programme at HWZ Zürich, where I teach alongside Karen Stock and welcome guest lecturers such as Dr. Riel Miller (UNESCO) and Prof. Dr. René Rohrbeck (WEF / EDHEC).
Today my focus is firmly on the future. I work closely with artificial intelligence and emerging technologies, exploring how they reshape the way narratives are created, understood and consumed. For me, AI, digital infrastructure and governance are not just topics to communicate, they are the forces that decide what comes next, and understanding them early is where foresight and communication meet.
A second thread runs through everything I do: a long-standing engagement with art, fashion, design and architecture, shaped by years writing for titles such as L'Officiel, Interview and Freunde von Freunden and editing Meter Magazin. It is where my eye for tone, aesthetics and what genuinely matters comes from.
The most transformative ideas emerge where unexpected conversations begin.
